Chris and I went out to eat at some great restaraunts and went to the art museum. It had been a while since we've been. I mainly wanted to see the Optic Nerve collection - perceptual art from the 1960's. BUT I stumbled across something so much more intriguing. A gentleman by the name Evan Penny makes giant, lifelike human busts. I was so freaked out!! It literally felt like I was staring at a giant human. The detail is phenominal. I found a link to some of his sculptures if you want to take a peek. The pictures don't give you the same experience, but you can get an idea.
I also used some of my slot machine winnings to purchase some great laminate flooring for the family room. I told Chris I would pay for the materials, but I wasn't going to pay for the labor. :>)
